How does your running cart work?
The custom built running cart is made of a welded aluminum frame with carbon fiber forks and Zipp wheels.  Glen wears a waist belt that is attached to the center of the cart where he will run with a free and normal stride.  All of his gear including shoes, clothing, sleeping bag, computer, food and water will all be carried inside the cart.

The cart also will feature "space age" acrylic sheeting that will offer an aerodynamic profile to cut through the wind.  This unique design will allow Glen to travel FAST!

Where will you sleep?
The cart will feature a fold down section that will allow Glen to sleep inside like a cacoon!

How many pairs of shoes will you run in?
Glen will use 8 pairs of ECCO running shoes for his journey across the United States!

How long will you be running each day?
In order to cover over 46 miles per day, Glen will be running most of each day.  It will take him between 7 and 13 hours to cover his daily distance depending on the terrain and weather conditions. 

Can I run with Glen?
With the use of the new SPOT messenger satellite tracking service, you will be able to track Glen's run across the country.  You will be able to see exactly where he is at any point in time!  Please contact Glen if you are interested in running with him as he comes through your town or city.  Glen will also be looking for host families to stay with as he travels across the country.
